Speaker: – Dr. Aaron Block, Franklin Family Practice
Topic – “Food Allergies”
Dr. Block is a native Buckeye, but spent much of his childhood growing up in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. He earned his undergraduate degree with honors in biology and physical anthropology from The Ohio State University in 2008, and later obtained his MD and MPH degrees at the University of South Florida in Tampa in 2014. He then returned to Ohio and completed his Family Medicine residency at Wright State University, where much of his time he provided care at Good Samaritan Hospital (closed in 2018). In 2017, Dr. Block was granted his board certification in Family Medicine by the ABFM.
Dr. Block’s professional interests include a full spectrum of care from newborn to the elderly, wellness, sports medicine, travel medicine, dermatologic procedures, and LGBT care. He is a firm believer in living life with proper balance, and treating people with kindness and dignity. Whether it’s hiking mountains around the world or gardening in his back yard, Dr. Block loves to celebrate life with travel, outdoor adventures, family, friends, and good food.
